A tragedy separates Esperanza (Judy Ann Santos) from her mother and siblings as they were traveling to Manila. Right after the dreadful incident, Esperanza is adopted by a humble driver, while her sister and brother were adopted by a cruel mayor and a fisherman separately. But despite the loving relationship she shares with her foster father, Esperanza, however, continues to suffer in the hands of her surrogate mother-who, later on, manages to send her away. With this, Esperanza embarks on a grueling journey to rebuild her family little by little-beginning with the search of her long-lost siblings. Will Esperanza succeed in reuniting her family amidst the brutal trials and challenges she has to face on her own?
