I live in the U.S., so downloading the show from iTunes France is currently the only way for me to see it since the physical copies of the show are only released in Europe, which means the DVDs are Region 2 locked, while the Blu-Rays are Region B locked. Anyway, even though it’s not HD, I was all excited to see it only to find out how terrible the sound mixing is on the provided stereo track: There’s absolute no concert dynamic. If you listen to the audio-only version of the album, you know Matt WAS actually singing live, but on this video presentation, you can’t hear any microphone echo, and the sound of the crowd is also very suppressed—it’s so quiet to the point where Matt’s non-echoed vocal is just too loud for the overall dynamic. It’s because of the lack of dynamic support brought by the crowd and the microphone echo, you can clearly hear the vulnerability of Matt’s vocal. I love him, but we all know he’s not famous for strong vocal and he definitely needs that extra effects in a live recording. Anyway, I’d give it 5 stars, but again the sound mixing is just too bad, so if you live in Europe, do get the physical copies, and hopefully (assuming they will have 5.1 or better sound tracks) the sound mixing on there is better.
