Dare to enter the lair! Dragon’s Lair is an animated adventure series adapted from the hit video game of the same name — back when video games took quarters — that allows the viewer to guess which action Dirk the Daring will undertake to defeat his enemies. Mimicking the action of a game, Dragon’s Lair pauses the action and asks the viewer which action Dirk should take in his never-ending quest to protect his beloved Princess Daphne and the kingdom of King Ethelred. Developed by the powerhouse animation crew put together by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, the Dragon’s Lair cartoon made many contributions to the saga, from naming the dragon Singe to rounding out the cast with such memorable supporting players as Bertram the horse (voiced by animation legend Peter Cullen) and Timothy the squire (Michael Mish). But enough talk! Dirk the Daring faces doom and he needs YOU to help him decide what to do! Will you accept the challenge?
